This is the first piece of leather I have ever bought and, other than not realising before now how much skin a cow must actually have, I am very happy with the product. This is for making guitar straps and I went for the natural colour for some dye experimenting. The hide came well prepared from what my inexperienced eye could tell, with few if any blemishes on the smooth side. For its 2mm thickness it is very firm, but as I have been working with the first pieces I have cut from it, it is starting to become more supple. Overall, I’m very happy with this product. It is described acurately and if all their products are as good quality, youbreally won’t go wrong. Ordering, delivery and communications were very good too.
