Nautical & Marine Applications

Leather has been used in boat building for hundreds of years due to its durability and ability to survive harsh conditions. In particular, leather is used to cover and protect equipment.

Some uses include: steering wheel covers, boat chocks, leather tiller grips and mast/cable/rope covers .

Marine leather is not just used for the hard wearing functional tasks, but also for yacht trimming and boat upholstery- adding the final finishing touch to your vessel!

All of the leathers listed below are suitable for various nautical and marine applications. However, depending your specific requirements, some will be more suitable than others. We have a huge variety of different colours and finishes available.

Please remember that not all of our stocked articles are listed online. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, or if you need advice on making your leather selection, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
