Natural Veg Tanned Trimmed Shoulders Economy Grade
£65.95 – £75.95
Full Grain, Natural, Vegetable Tanned, Un-dyed, Trimmed Shoulders. Economy Grade.
Description
Pure vegetable tanned, natural full grain shoulders. Unlike our very popular existing range of economy veg, these shoulders have been trimmed- this means that the cheeks have been removed and a straight edge cut has been made where the shoulder meets the back, resulting in the rectangular shape. This makes these shoulders ideal for making belts, offering good length with little wastage.
These shoulders are made using South American raw material, rather than the European raw material which we use for our Regular and Premium grade shoulders, which is why they have been listed as economy grade. Being a veg leather, these shoulders are very versatile suitable for tooling/carving, wet forming, engraving/stamping and they can be dyed to colour using our Fiebing’s leather colours and pro-dyes. The shoulders offer excellent value for money, making them an ideal starting point for those new to leathercraft, who would like to practice and hone their skills without investing in the more expensive higher grades.
We stock these Natural Vegetable Tanned Trimmed Shoulders in both 2.0/2.5mm & 3.0/3.5mm. Average size: 10-15 SQFT.
If you have any questions or queries, regarding this leather, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

excellent, a stunning piece of leather.

The leather has a few scuffs and scrapes, evidence of its less than gentle transportation.
But it’s an economy grade and for the price it’s still a good piece of leather – perfect for the purpose I intended for it.

Face of the leather was pretty good ,back side not so much really rough in places.Bought it for belt making and noticed when cut using a strap cutter noticed that the thickness was really variable it was sold as 3-3.5 mm thick but is as thin as 2mm in places and as thick as 4mm in others. Disappointed as there will be a fair bit of waste .Wished I’d paid a bit more for the regular grade.
