Description
Hunter is a PU (polyurethane) coated split leather. The PU top coat gives a more durable, wipeable finish. This leather has been produced using a combination tannage, to create a smooth handle, and a natural drummed pebble effect- this means the skin will have a varied finish, interchanging between smooth and grained across the skin to create a wonderfully authentic article. (You will get an idea of the finish variation from looking through the swatch images above.)
The Hunter splits are resin backed, so lining is not required. This leather is ideal for belts, bags and all manner of small leathergoods. Large regular shaped skins will measure between 22-25 SQFT, so offer great cutting of large patterns and good length for strapping and belts. Refer to image above for approx. dimensions. We have a varied range of 27 colours available.
