Description
Our 0.9/1.0mm Black Auto Hides are pigmented fine grain whole hides, which we have developed by popular demand. These hides have a lovely soft handle, and a very slight waxy drag feel to the touch. Coupled with the Matt black finish, they are sure to give your project a wonderful final aesthetic. As the name suggests these hides are absolutely ideal for use in the automotive industry for car interiors and trim. Pigmented or protected leathers are one of the most common types of leather used for furniture & upholstery. Our Auto hides have an extremely durable finish, and have been tested to ensure they meet with Cigarette & Match fire regulations, Crib 5 and IMO Part 8 as standard- this makes these hides suitable for use in both domestic and commercial applications.
To begin with our Auto Hides are only available in the matt black finish as pictured. Average skin size: 45-60 SQFT – large skins offering excellent cutting.
