Description

A lovely rustic pull-up leather in 1.8/2.0mm, these sides are very similar in specification to our very popular Smooth Rio Sides, just a little lighter weight. A full grain leather, showing the natural, organic characteristics of the animal skin. Available in two colours Nut Brown and Chili Red. We’ve included plenty of pictures for reference.  This leather has a lovely vintage/antique aesthetic. TR1 selection hides, so great quality available at a massively reduced price. Very limited quantities available in each colour- once it’s gone it’s gone, so grab a bargain whilst you can.

Please note, being of South American origin, some of the skins include brand marks, this is normal.

The smooth surface of the leather has been oiled to create a lovely waxy drag feel (but not too greasy). When stretched or pulled, the pull-up effect causes the leather to lighten in colour creating a distressed or antique finish, enabling the creation of authentic, rustic looking leather goods.

This leather is especially popular with shoe and boot makers. It is also suitable for satchels, bags, backpacks, guitar straps also tablet and phone cases.
