Description

A lovely rustic brown pull-up leather 2.0/2.2mm, these sides started out in life as our very popular Honeysuckle Smooth Rio Sides. However, an issue in the tanning of this particular batch has resulted in a mottled and uneven finish across the skins. We’ve included plenty of pictures for reference. It actually looks really nice and emphasises that natural vintage/antique look of the leather, but as it doesn’t pass our quality control for the regular Rio line we are offering it here at a massively discounted price- reduced to clear. This is your chance to get some really nice leather at a really nice price – if you use or have used our Rio previously then you know what to expect in terms of quality. 

Please note whilst we wait on the replacement batch we are out of stock of the regular honeysuckle smooth Rio. New stock is expected in June. 

Some of the skins include brand marks, this is normal.

The smooth surface of the leather has been oiled to create a lovely waxy drag feel. When stretched or pulled, the pull-up effect causes the leather to lighten in colour creating a distressed or antique finish, enabling the creation of authentic, rustic looking leather goods.

This leather is especially popular with shoe and boot makers. It is also suitable for satchels, bags, backpacks, also tablet and phone cases.
