New Colour for 2023: Saxon Oak.
These are 3.5/4.0mm heavyweight dyed through Buffalo Butts. Lovely full grain leather, 80%/20% Veg/Chrome Tannage. Trimmed butts are ideal for making top quality belts and straps with little wastage, also great for cases.
Approx. skin size: 7-11.5 SQFT, see image above for approx. dimensions of a 10 SQFT skin.
We are stocking the Buffalo in two distinct finishes:
- Saxon: Full grain with a wonderfully subtle pull-up effect. Available in the following colours: Black, Tan, Brandy, Oak & Brown.
- Safari: Full grain, with a heavy distressed/antique finish, ideal for that vintage look. Available in the following 4 colours: Black, Tan, Mid Brown & Dark Brown.

Size is actually somewhere around 130cm in leth. One of the leathers quality was so inconsistent that I would have around 50% wastage if used (using the leather forl belts). Piece arrived folded the wrong way (skin side in) groups of marks/cracks in places, flesh side wonky around the edges.
